Campsite La Garangeoire - Reviews

We booked a last minute stay at end of season and had the best holiday. Booking was followed up with all information needed and personal contact which made everything very straightforward. We've travelled a lot but this was our first holiday with our one year old and it was a very relaxing experience being looked after for everything by Sue and Richard on site. The mobile home was very comfortable, modern, clean and has everything needed. The campsite exceeded expectation, and has something for everyone in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the pools, playgrounds, forestry and lake walks, visiting the equestrian centre, playing table tennis and mini golf. We're looking forward to going back next year to experience the lagoon, go carting, cycling and kayaking on the lake. This year I especially enjoyed a world class massage and pilates class which I look forward to again next time. Thanks for a great stay 😊

We are just back from a week in La Garangeoire. This was our first time going with Euroresorts and the experience was top class. We booked late and Rod and Denise were super efficient, Sue and Richard the onsite reps could not have been more helpful and we have never experienced a personal touch like this previously with other companies.campsute itself and the area is just amazing and we will definitely be back

We are just back from a week at La Garangeoire. I had heard great things about the campsite and it exceeded all my expectations. Firstly the communication via email with Rod and Ron to book the campsite was excellent - they were so accommodating. We loved the place so much. It is so clean, mobiles are well spread out in nature, facilities are spot on (we did go karting, table tennis, horse riding, swimming, kids clubs etc). We went to the Defi adventure park (unreal!) and Sable D’Olanne on Sue and Rons recommendation. The fresh bread and croissants every morning were delicious. The staff on the site were so friendly and nothing was ever a problem. Our EuroResort mobile was perfect…really spacious, immaculate and with a beautiful view of the lagoon. Sue and Richard made the holiday for us - Sue was texting us before we even arrived and fielded any questions we had about the mobile, campsite or surrounding areas. They couldn’t have been more attentive and are so friendly! It was great reassurance for us having them there if we needed any help. Our children knew them by their first names and where the euro resort reception was if they got lost. My husband fell and dislocated his finger and Sue couldn’t have helped more. They lent us some poker chips for the kids to play and some gloves for the adventure park. So kind. Thank you so much EuroResorts - we’ve never experienced a service like it before and we will certainly be back. Still have to tick puy du foy off the list!

We spent a week in La Garangeoire this summer on our family holiday with 3 teenagers. It was our first time booking with EuroResorts and it was a seamless experience. Sue and Richard are super hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. At the last minute we needed to change our check-in time which was no problem with Sue and Richard. They are experienced and trustworthy hosts, have great local knowledge of the area and gave us many good recommendations to keep all ages happy.
Our mobile was very clean and modern. We had a 3 bedroom, with an en-suite included so there was plenty of space for a family of 5. The mobile was fully equipped for all our needs and we were also fortunate to be selected to trial WiFi and had no issues with the service.
The campsite deserves its 5 star rating. It is set in a beautiful wooded area. Its staff were plentiful and friendly and the reception and public service areas were very clean. The restaurant and take-away food is of a very high quality. There are many amenities to keep all ages busy and the 3 pool side water slides were a hit with the teenagers.
I would highly recommend the campsite for a family holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sue and Richard again.

Just back for a trip to La Garangeoire. Booked through EuroResorts again. Booking simple and straightforward we added a guest later on which again was no issue or extra charge. Our on site reps Sue and Richard were excellent and nothing was a bother for either of them. The site itself was fantastic for us with two kids under 6. Will definitely book again.

We spent 2 weeks at La Garangeoire in July. It was the first time booking with Euro Resorts but the booking process was seamless and the office were extremely helpful when changes were required to the booking.
When we arrived at the campsite, we were met by Sue and Richard who I must say were amazing during our stay. They were available to answer any questions and provided information on things to do.
We stayed in a 3-bed Residence which was spotless when we arrived and contained everything we needed. We have already booked again for next year with Euro Resorts.

Just back from a great family holiday in France sue and Richard our holiday reps were amazing from the start to end of holidays. Would definitely return again

We have just returned from a great trip. We love the campsite. It was our first time with Euroresorts and it was a great experience. The homes were spotless and sue and Richard couldn’t be more helpful. Have already booked again with them for next year

Weve just returned from a loveky week at this campsite. We have had many years of camping holidays, but this was our first time with Euroresorts. Our experience with Euroresorts was very positive and standards are far superior to others we have used and for less cost. Sue & Richard were very informative & welcoming. They were friendly & we felt they really cared that we would have a great time.
We got an upgrade in our accommodation which was fantastic with lots of space. It would be even better if there was a proper structer over the decking, making it more comfortable to sit out, especially at night. Overall, it was a positive experience & we would definitely choose Euroresorts again.

Our family of five - 2 adults & 3 kids (age 9, 7 & 4) are just heading for Cherbourg to catch out Ferry.

This is our second year visiting La Garangeoire with EuroResorts.

After a recommendation to go to La Garangeoire from a friend, I got in contact with Rod. He made the whole process quick & easy - communication was so easy & any queries where answered quickly.

On site we met with our reps - the wonderful Sue & Richard. Honestly these two are gems! We got checked in quickly & easily. All site info was given & Richard brought us to our cabin.
Throughout our stay - Sue & Richard where only a text away for any questions & they passed on any helpful information they could.

Our cabin - a 3-bed Elite - was spotlessly clean. The bedlinen was waiting & was comfortable & warm. The cabin had all we needed crockery, cutlery, pots, pans & utensils. We cooked most days and the gas oven & hob worked great.
A fan was provided which was a lifesaver on the hotter days.
Our cabin was in the Fluers section & was close to all the action which was great.

The Campsite is amazing. A real family feel to it. It is just the right amount of everything.
As a whole is immaculately well kept & clean.
Activities for the kids & adults planned out carefully on the timetable. There is a kids club from 10am - 12pm daily and a nursery in the evening for restaurant goers.
On-site facilities we used where the mini-market (lots of daily basics) & fresh pastries (get in early!), the pool bar, the garden (entertainment every evening for the kids) & the take-away (very, very good food & pizza). The pools - spotless & very fun.

Activities we done on-site - pony trekking, table tennis, crazy golf, the lagoon, playground, football field & of course cycling.

There is also lots to do locally if you have a car to travel. We went to Le grand defi, Atlantic toboggan, beauland park, planete savage & Sauveterre Beach.

We had a fun filled & relaxed holiday, everyone is happy & we've already booked to return next year - can't wait!
